The IndXr Product Suite is a platform designed to develop,manage, index and customize Search results from both unstructured and structured data across Industry segments. The product suite allows enterprises to develop and deploy search or vertical search engines across a variety of data sources such as enterprise-wide Intranet data, provides connectivity to databases available within the enterprise and also obtain and Index data from Internet sites. The product suite comes with data versioning, authentication, security modules, and enhanced reporting to track and manage the data sources and customize search results.

Our search modules allows indexing and merging multiple data, catalogue and build vertical search and segregations across various data sources. Vertical search results allows enterprises to apply themes and drill-downs to narrow search results across select data types or content, thereby allowing effective knowledge management, analytics and reporting.

Scheduler Modules

TheScheduling modules allows new projects to be scheduled for crawling, Indexing and creating Search Indices. Detailed Job scheduling and management controls are provided to control the creation, management of search indexes across a variety of data sources.

Data Sources

IndXr product supports multiple data sources to allow enterprises to manage and search on both their corporate and customized Internet data. The product suite currently supports Intranet data available on systems within an enterprise LAN or local files, corportate data bases and Internet web-sites. The search results from various data sources can be combined to provide a unified view of an Enterprise's data and knowledge management requirements.

Enterprise Intranet

Most of the data available within a corporate enterprise comprises of both structured and unstructed data. Our product suite currently supports indexing and keyword search across a variety of file formats such as Microsoft Office files, Open Office files, Adobe PDFs and Flash, Archives such as .ZIP, Image data files such as .gif, .jpg, .bmp and data from intranet web-sites in html, xml, blogs and web feeds.

Internet

The Internet data sources allows effective crawling, indexing, aggregating and managing data from specified Internet sites and provide keyword search, synonym search and search-within-search capabilities. Additional features include crawl depth, follow links and exclude links while indexing. The merge features of the product allows the search words to span across both data sources thereby providing one unified view across all data sources.

Databases

Today,most corporate or research data currently exists within defined databases sources such as Oracle, SQLServer, MySQL, Jdbc/odbc sources etc...BI and data reporting requirements are developed and based on existing data warehouses or data marts. The IndXr product suite supports extraction, indexing, and search across one or multiple data base sources, table definitions, and supporting multiple SQL queries. Additional features include wildcard search, tagging existing BI or system reports to search keyword results to map and launch reports based on search keywords.

Security and Authentication Modules

Security and authentication are important aspects in our IndXr product suite. Features supported include creation of users and roles, which would allow restricted access to the Search of data, controlling user access to confidential information with an enterprise. Additionally, we can also customize the user access modules to the current corporate standards, thereby, creating a single sign on feature for access to knowledge management.

Enhanced Reporting Modules

The reporting engine supports basic and detailed reports. Reports to view Scheduled Indexes, Status, drill-down details, summary of which data files or sources were indexed, user access reports, site analytics and domain management statisitics are part of the standard product suite.

The ContXr product is a data visualization and knowledge management tool. It can be used to catalogue, organize, search and manage all data across organizations. It allows adding domains, users and mapping search categories which have been defined using IndXr product suite to be accessed and scheduled.

The product allows creation of user defined themes and categories based on domain, subjects or topics. Further, categories can have user defined attributes, keywords and synonyms, which can be used for performing custom search such as Boolean logic, search within results, and wildcard searches.

The product administrator can create, grant and revoke privileges across users, domains, and map search categories for users to search based on roles and authentication using IndXr product suite. Users can create personalized themes, categories, 'synonyms for keywords' and a scheduler to get search results based on defined attributes.

Search

User based search interface which supports all popular parameters such as Boolean Search, 'search-within-results', AND/NOT logic, advanced search features in-URL, in-Title and user search history. Image and Audio search pages support thumbnails, NEAR and Wild Card search

MS Windows XP SP2/Windows Server 2003 or Linux versions such as RHEL enterprise 4, 2 GB RAM, Fedora / Ubuntu 8 are above, Apache Tomcat 5.5.x or higher (or other containers such as JBOSS), Java Runtime 1.5.x or higher, MySQL Enterprise ver 4.x or higher, Browsers IE 6, IE 7 and FireFox 2.x, IndXr Beta and available Search indexes.
